a passion for textiles and a commitment to sustainability
Karen Lukacs transforms reclaimed garments and textile discards into one-of-a-kind, limited-edition collections of artisan fashion for body and home. Such is her work in Sustainable Eco Fashion: reduce, reuse, refashion.
In her studio in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert, each piece is individually handcrafted: One at a Time. One of a Kind. Her focused attention to each piece limits production and inventory. Her mantra is one of quality vs quantity. Her skillset reaches for products of longevity, outlasting transient trends.
The aesthetic timelessness and durability of Karen’s work lend them to be worn and re-worn, sold and resold, canvases for creating generational stories.
